So much food for thought here. Thank you. I could never buy into the idea of Original Sin or understand it on any level. Almost to the point I started to doubt my intelligence :D Whichever philosopical angle I approached the idea from there would be a resounding "No" from the depths of my soul. And an even louder "Piss off I'm not buying it, ever".

I hope you don't mind me saying, I find this so negative and I wonder what fruit it bears. Personally I consider evil to be the absence and not to have any functional ontology itself.

Does it completely upend this thought process through the dark triad?

"It is at this point that we introduce the interloper into this cosmic play: the exploitative, unaccountable higher-order being who has developed god-like powers over the eons. In a landscape teeming with nascent life, the opportunity arises for such beings to capture and exploit the products of this biological warfare. Like an old west town overtaken by outlaws, the local population of lesser beings would be enslaved by these galactic pirates, forced into servitude for their captors’ pleasure. From a probability standpoint, this type of captive conflict would emerge far sooner than any grand galactic war in the style of Star Wars or Star Trek’s Federation versus Romulan Empire."

Does the mere existence of a dark player comprehensively dismiss all potential for hope?

I think it's the focus itself. Acknowledging it entails a type of focus. I liked the article because it seemed informative but it got so abstractly dire that I was thinking the focus might be overwhelming on the dark triad aspect.

I find hopelessness to be the most debilitating emotion or perspective humans have in this Life. The Son of Man was Sent to unlock the shackles of hopelessness for Man but we must choose to remove those unlocked restraints.

The Gift of Free Will has perks and pitfalls. It allows for exposure to forces that are seemingly “stronger” (influential is perhaps a better term) within specific dimensional spaces although they do fear we will actually discover our superior strength on this physical existential earthly dimension that was conveyed through the Son of Man. Our average minds have difficulty truly understanding the complexity of Life, the Universe and Everything which leads me to attempt to simplify the model based on things that I do understand (most men DO create God in their own image after all 😊). A Creator (parent/father) of many species and entities would not have much Satisfaction or Joy from automaton children whose actions, Love, fellowship and relationship was involuntary or forced i.e. I so appreciate those moments when my nephews come over to hug me simply because they WANT to and not following the instruction to by another adult (“go tell your Aunt hello”). The other side of the Free Will coin, of course, is that some entities, using their free will, choose darkness, hostility, control, bullying, manipulation and violation of fellow or other different species/entities. Where we lack, as individuals, freedom of choice, is that of to whom we are born and the circumstances in which we spend our formative, imprinting and (hopefully) domesticating early years. Since we cannot exercise dominion over a nuclear family until reaching an age of “maturity”, a myriad of horrific (and wonderful) possibilities abound for the external, “passive” imprinted emotional and social development of each young human. If one’s parents or parent had chosen to devote themselves to allegiances of the evil/dark entity persuasion and intent, they might feel hopeless to ever escape from the darkness of their daily reality. As a doc, I have treated a small minority of these unfortunate former children whose parent(s) were occultists or satanists and truly seemed to draw strength from the bloody nectar of their children’s suffering and tormented bodies. It is a difficult web to escape from but some do and refuse to perpetuate a generational cycle of oppression. A source of Hope for many of these escapees is found in the teachings and Love offered through the Son of Man. I cannot pretend to completely understand scientifically the metaphysical necessity of His creation, existence and Sacrifice to those of us disrupting generational physical, emotional and spiritual violations to others and self (which can absolutely be DNA imprinted), only that the processes of ceremony, consecration, Cleansing, and ritual have energetic harmonics and imprinting that translates metaphysical significance into physical, universal and quantum effects/meaning. Ultimately, the language of God is mathematics and physics and through them, all waveforms and harmonics that compose Life and reality can be described, micro and macro. The most beautiful and complex of compositions, in music and light, is this Life.

Thank you, TES, for what you do - you elevate my thinking in a very unique way.

First, know how much your X account has ignited & given new focus in understanding, coping with a planet being swarmed by the locusts of control. Imho, this stack is singularly one of the most mind stimulants in the current era of the blind march towards submission.

M. Scott Peck’s 1985 “People of the Lie” was a ground-breaking study of evil. He wrote: “The evil in this world is committed by the spiritual fat cats, by the Pharises of our own day.” Peck defined the characteristics of evil: Scapegoating. “They sacrifice others to preserve their self-image of perfection.” Contrast this to Arendt’s “Banality of Evil” in which she determined Eichmann “performed evil deeds without evil intentions.” Arendt’s friend agreed: “Eichmann lacks an inherent human quality, the capacity for thought, conscience.”

Alan Wolfe’s “Political Evil” hits on all of these circular themes—what’s the cause of evil? Why do scientists examine brains of executed serial killers? Have they ever reach concrete conclusions? Do psychiatrists know the origins of psychopathy?

Are we witnessing an evolutionary, sinister “race”? The late priest, Fr. Gabriel Amorth’s journal, “An Exorcist Tells His Story” is still the bedrock book of demonic possession. Psychiatrist Richard Gallagher’s “Demonic Foes” is the result of his quarter century of “investigating possessions, diabolical attacks, and the paranormal.”

I’ve studied this a bit & always arrive at the same question: what are the origins of unique DNA? What are the origins of previous civilizations? Ashton Forbes is also asking provocative questions about the origins of anti-gravitational technology.

Is this human era on the verge of extinction due to an inherently flawed (DNA) “will” of the people to defy the current masters?

Thank you.

Thanks so much, AGAIN! Agreed. A critical moment of Inversion is upon us. Just got back from a very good weight training session at the gym and reading this essay felt so refreshing. To borrow a phrase my youngest daughter has been using lately, TeS is Slaying it.

Holy Cow, this is truly a Deep and Terrific article describing the STS versus STO battle of Higher Principalities in this world and all Worlds! (STS Service To Self, the Dark Archons of Satanic Evil from a Higher realm above us, controlling and manipulating their Puppets and all of us here in our current Realm) (STO Service to Others, The Positive Joyful true residency and Inheritance we Belong to as we learn Our place is with 'The Son of Man', Christ the King)

The first half was scaring the Crap out of me, although familiar with the argument, it made me wonder if the author would draw any Positive out of this, then to Read the Second Half about the Inversion: Mankind's Emergence from this Abortive Play, and specifically about one of or a portion of the Nag Hammadi texts, in particular 'The Hypostasis of the Archons', I find it to be a reassuring and encouraging testament to all that is Truly Holy and Good in our Higher Reality!

Once again, thanks TES for a capturing and sharing novel insight. “Intent” is a step above other origin narratives. Timshel or “Thou Mayest” from Steinbeck’s novel East of Eden grows for me into more than having the free will to choose between good and evil. It precipitates an awareness that integrates critical thinking (mind) and emotional knowing (heart) that does not need to be in conflict. Thou mayest believe before thou mayest analyze for rational explanation. As I grew up, my faith was challenged by my scientific training in physics and chemistry. But there has always been lingering doubts. Too many dots connected by nebulous theory that could not be falsified. Now I can understand that the doubts stem from incongruities that humans can sense before they can be articulated. Timshel!

To sum this up:

The reason we are in this mess running headlong into tyranny is because the majority of people refuse to believe that the controllers would ever do this to us. These eternal optimists appear to be blind to this most fundamental construct of human nature: that power attracts and then corrupts nearly everyone who wields it—and the globalists - those obscure puppetmaster billionaires you never read about in Forbes and who've spent decades away from the disinfectant properties of sunlight - have indeed become quite corrupted.

I’ve tried and failed countless times to open their eyes to the truth of the situation – that the elites are evil incarnate, and that they want most of us dead, and that they want to enslave the rest of us.

And the stunning part about their blindness is that none of this is new: the psychopaths often rise to the top of every power structure over time as the bad drives out the good and as such tyranny has taken control of nations many many times throughout history. This time is no different, and the freedom we take for granted has actually been an aberration from the historical norm.

If people still cannot see this given how obvious what is occurring has become, then I do not see how we have any hope of turning the tide.

The normies will just keep on complying and believing what’s being done to them is for the greater good while they drag themselves and the rest of us into totalitarianism.

Appears to me that hope, like power, has all the properties necessary for the emergence and propagation of addictive and abusive patterns. I don't understand what "turning the tide" refers to, but I imagine this would be exhausting and in the end, futile.

The concept of original sin is beneficial in that it keeps up aware of our Jungian shadow selves. Knowing I am capable of selfishness, lying, stealing etc means I can guard against it and avoid the intellectual rationalizations ever so popular among those who often behave in way that damage others. Some of the most dangerous people are people convinced of their own righteousness, whether within the church or outside of it, while those that are aware of their dark tendences are more likely to self reflect and keep them in check. While this can be abused by others (ironically unaware of their own shadow selves) to sow guilt in the masses it is normally just a mechanism to inculcate a sense of reflection and ego check.

Expand full comment

Original sin is not beneficial in this way. That is simple self-awareness and accountability. Original sin has nothing but demonic utility - a final condemnation which benefits only those who made the judgement to begin with (the sinless).

Expand full comment

Nobody is sinless. Those in the church who claim to be are heretical. Self awareness is supported by the notion that we are all fallible and capable of darkness. That is all orginal sin is.

Expand full comment

That is not correct. Original sin is outlined in the Torah Genesis account. It has nothing whatsoever to do with our rough edges as beings, responsibility, or accountability/forgiveness. Original sin is the very essence of declaration that there exists a sinless group, realm, or possibility (all of which are false in our relevant range).

Expand full comment

Well we are both allowed our interpretations I guess. I’m not going to go back and forth on this when we are costly seeing this differently.

Expand full comment

Well, make sure you distinguish original sin, from mere sin and fallibility in your interpretation of both. Otherwise you are not 'seeing it differently,' you never got my point to begin with.

I honestly tried to follow this, but have my own beliefs that agency is given to us by God, and we use/abuse it. Others seek to enslave us through fear and guilt to separate us from God, and thereby diminish us through guilt. They are perverting the relationship of God by injecting uncertainty and fear. Much like we see today.

Consider a relationship with God as a father, and we as children. Why would a father seek to punish us through guilt? It seems far easier to believe that others seek to enslave us with fear of our father and instilling the notion that we are worthless.

And what if our father provided a way to come back to him by wiping away the guilt, should we use our agency to believe in God's plan.

I see purveyors of fear being most afraid that we'll see beyond them for something much better. Because then they're irrelevant and lose their power over us.

Interesting piece, ES, much to think through, thanks.

As a Naturalist I do not align with your Supernatural stance but your riff on the Selfish Gene (pace, Dawkins) as I hear it is music to my ears as it is this Ultimate Authority we must think our way out of to the Responsible Freedom of the Self-Authorized Separate Self that has learned the Lesson of Loss.

I consider your other worldly evil abusers of humanity are projections of your own mind (no offence meant—show me empirical proof please) and I find these all too human predators here on this earth can be best managed by not granting them cosmic status but understood as damned and damaged humans (see Lloyd deMause and Psychohistory, and his last book’s title that tells all: “The Origin of War in Child Abuse”, download free here

https://psychohistory.com/books/the-origins-of-war-in-child-abuse/ ) who are lethally trauma driven to continue the generational slaughter.

I have not cited anything supernatural here. I don't use categorical terminology and rhetorical deflection to dismiss ideas a priori. Non-human intelligences are a natural reality - with ample evidence behind them. I am not here to do your research work for you, nor become a whipping post or participant inside your exercise in dissonance. You can play that game on your own, it profits me nothing.

Most of the world is moving on from 19th century religion and its 20th century fake skepticism overreaction. I'm also not interested in stepping into forums to debate religious thinkers (from either extremist cult or century). That is why I have my blogsite. It is for everyone else without voice and crowd-enforcement (their weary victims).

The last time I joined a forum of 'free' discussion, members therein became psychotic stalkers, contacting former employees, employers, and trying to see what harm they could manifest in my personal life, making threats, for the mere audacity to not agree with their naturalist insistence. It got dark and dangerous. They still stalk me today. They were IFLS'ers offended by my inference and speculation from that inference. Not doing that again.
