Where can we get an explanation of that chart or learn to read it. I did not understand it.

It is a complex chart Warren. It took me over ten years to derive it and finally understand that the symmetry in the DNA standard codex revolves around the 2nd and 3rd bases, and not the 1st and 2nd as I was trained in school.

I have done my best to break down the chart in this expanded article.

However, there is no simple way to express this, other than to compare it to a resistor color banding standard used by the IEEE. The DNA standard code is more complex and more highly organized than is that IEEE standard.
