Good article ES. Randi was always a fake skeptic. Proven by Dr Dead Radin as a fraud when Randi's million dollar challenge was shown to be rigged. I heard a rumor that the "amazing" Randi was being blackmailed by the intelligence groups because of sex stuff.

It was not Covid1984 that exposed the Shelpticks (sicK).
For me, their main head, Michael Charmer, er, Shermer, has never been a true skeptic.
He is thoroughly an admirer of his mirror, and a Status/Statist Quoer through and through and I was through with him 2010ish.
Btw, did you know about his sexual abuse allegations? I checked them out years ago and the evidence indicates it may be true--and it fits his profile if you go deep into it.
However, parts of his books are valuable in understanding the Human Condition.
But Covid1984 showed his/their masks off in public: OBEDIENT SLAVES.
funnily enough, i was just watching a video on “pretentiousness,” which is how i’ve always viewed “skeptic” communities. they just felt that way to me. then i went on to study logic, empiricism, and whatnot, and turns out—they’re exactly the pretentious know-nothings they seem to be 😝
