“As is most often the case, the heart has already written the song well before it was ever penned, much less performed. In actuality it might have taken a decade or more to write the song.”

Ethical Skeptic

How beautiful is that? How true and quite near perfect. There is a place in sound when it soars—and analyzing it, I find that the tone borders on the # but doesn’t become it. It is a Supra-note defying the logic of what perfect is. Being released from the bonds of technique yet brought forth because of technique—years of labor—a singer sing this note only as the heart rises within.

My school board and county commissioners and state government and Governor follow the sciebam of ‘public health’ experts. Children still force masked and state employees still coerced/forced vaxxxed, all dissenters are embargoed and discredited by an appeal to (untruthful) authority. Folks behaving like they are bewitched, spellbound by abstract ideas conjured up by public health experts. Cant get through to them.

Thank-you for giving me the opportunity to jump-start my brain this morning. I continue to look for silver linings in the past 24 months. Finding you and many others early on is perhaps the best silver lining of all. Had the pandemic not happened, I might have stayed in my lazy comfort zone.

"Ethical Skeptic’s Law – if science won’t conduct the experiment, society will force the experiment. One can only embargo an idea for so long." I have a good friend - son of a rocket scientist - who has an analogous version. It goes something like this: "The Truth is like a beach ball; it takes a constant and enormous amount of energy to hold it under water, to hide it, but eventually, inexorably, it rises to the surface." I try to take heart in the dark times because deep down I know that Truth's suppression is always temporary. One might even say 'temporal.'
