I liked this article, but I did not read it thorougly, I recommend that you check out Bob Greeneyer's (Martin Fleichman Memorial Project) video on the purpose of the Pyramids at Youtube: "O-Day - New dawn of an old age"
Not sure how the sea level you are postulating to partially cover the pyramids since they were built would fit in with the current sea-level curve from the last glacial maximum of around 20,000 years ago to now - see link below. We are currently at a sea level of about 120 m above what it was back then and no other major changes have been observed.
The only way I can imagine such flooding happening would be due to a massive tsunami generated by a meteorite impact or comet into the Mediterranean or Red Sea, or some blockage that could create a dam downstream to trap water (like a massive landslide), or both happening either simultaneously or sequentially.
A Nova smashes the Earth with energy and mass. This accelerates nuclear decay and affects reckoning of isotope decay rates, making the Y. Dryas seem to be 12,000 years ago when it was much more recent.
We have a complex cause of all the inundations. The Earth has been outside the Sun for 1,200, hundred, years or so.
The Sun is electric and magnetic. It is powered by the strands of AC from the galactic core. These reverse polarity. Every 5-600 years.
The planets react by maintaining spin: they slowly tip over in about one day. We have witness reports of the Sun staying still and then going down the way it rose. We have a few maps showing what we regard as South at the top of the map and others with no magnetic orientation. We have the inundations. The sea waters etc all resist the movement to the North and South respectively. They appears therefore to move, with respect to land. Then they rebound and this happens a few times over the next days.
On timing, we need to understand that too much hsitory is missing, and therefore we may reject the idea that there was only one King of Egypt upper or lower. They were more or less contemporaneous. They had each a capital city, there was no single city in charge of the entire Nile.
Check out the largest sand isalnds in the world, found off of Queensland, Australia. Over 200 metres high. They contain billions of tons of heavy mineral sands as well as SiO2. Wavefroms evident for 30kms inland all along the 2,000km coast of Queensland.
Fascinating observations and conjectures, especially the ancient report that, restated, says the VERY ancient Egyptians claimed that the sun rose in the west and set in the east. Now, granted that my knowledge of elementary physics is basic. If such observations were true, that would almost certainly mean that the Earth was literally turned upside down or otherwise drastically altered from its current orbit. I doubt there is any plausible way that could happen via the Earth’s core. It’d require a large body passing close to the Earth. Hmmm….that’s precisely what Immanuel Velikovsky speculated about decades ago in his books. If the Moon and Sun produce our normal tides (they do), just imagine the huge swells a close approach of a planet would do.
“Psuedoscience” it may be, but there are enough ancient legends, dating to prehistory, about some most odd phenomena that happened and left deep imprint on human consciousness, and, perhaps, anomalous geological traces.
The results presented here do seem to strongly suggest that the three large pyramids at Giza can't be older than about 5,000 years old at most. Either these results are wrong, or any major external damage from water had to happen within the last 5,000 years:
Well written and interesting. One question that occurred to me was if the pyramids were submerged at one point, shouldn't there be salt residues on every interior surface? There should also be remains of small invertebrates, especially those that build carbonate skeletons. I'm not aware of any reports of this nature. I wonder if anyone has really looked.
- Did you take a look into academic articles for erosion rates of tura limestone by seawater and ones for the erosion rate by rain? It'll be an additive effect of both, but if you start with the secondary Karst erosion (base of the pyramid to 283'-292') and use the calc for the rain erosion: you could show that the erosion rate is too high for rain alone in that section (assuming: 1. original casing stone thickness is known for the base of the pyramid to show difference, and 2. there was minimal removal of the casing stone by Giza inhabitants).
- Given the rate for the rain erosion and average erosion caused by sand/wind, would it be possible to get upper/lower bounds of the age of the pyramid using the still intact - albeit weathered - capstone?
- Given the age boundaries calculated from above, could the minimum amount of time the high floods persisted be estimated (for the primary Karst erosion section)? i.e. (Wind/sand erosion) + (rain erosion) = minimum amount of material removed by sea state of 8.
Hopefully these questions are helpful and not just pure ramblings. All the best and thank you for the post.
There seems to be a collective memory of some type of cataclysmic event in the Mediterranean Sea which gives rise to the legend of Atlantis. Could this be connected? And what of the evidence of ships found in the Sahara? There are just so many intriguing mysteries in history - the rise and demise of the Indus Valley civilization, for example.
According to Zecharia Sitchin, Khufu’s own stele remarked that the great pyramid was already there when he ‘arrived’. And he only ruled for 23 years, not long enough for the pyramid to have taken 30 years. But he DID build the temple to Isis just a short distance from there.
There also seems to be tangible evidence in the Sumerian tablets (and Akkadian, Egyptian, Greek, etc) that the flood happened long before it is said to have and that the way it happened could very well have caused the erosion to the pyramids.
Fascinating subject, whoever built it. I’ve been doing a little digging around myself and having a blast with it all.
Fascinating! There are visible salt deposits on some of the interior walls, including in the Queen's Chamber - when it was first opened by Petrie the salt deposits were quite thick, up to one-half-inch thick in places. Petrie took it into account when he made measurements of the chamber. The salt also was found along the Horizontal Passage and in the lower portion of the Grand Gallery.
Furthermore, salt deposits are visible in at least one other pyramid.
I expect that interiors have been cleaned since and the salt scraped for conservation purposes, but have a look at this https://youtu.be/hxWEWUsvcS4?si=k0r7GP4B_crOrvhJ -- at around 7.30min some deposits are still clearly visible.
Are you familiar with this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMAtkjy_YK4? I'm curious to know what you think of it.

Great article and analysis of academic fudging.

The impeller
The nature of water
The nature of air
Water is the realm we live within
Water and air are the same element
Air the gaseous form of water
It’s form is bubbles
We measure air by its humidity or moisture
Water is the liquid form
It’s form is drops or full bubbles
When energy is given to water, bubbles arise and leave as air.
Water is the great container
Bubbles carry stuff
In air smoke is carried up. Then think of sand storms and dust storms, bubbles carry these too.
In water bubbles carry substances as they break apart - water is the great decomposer.
(See my Substack article.)
The impeller could work in water and air.
Air flight has been ours a lot longer than the wright brothers. Old pictures have white skies because of edits to erase the air travellers.
We dream of individual flight as children because we know it’s our natural domain.
Think of the millions of visitors at the international world exhibitions. They flew with skill and ease.
International exchange of ideas and culture was every day. Poverty unknown. Filth unknown. Depravity unknown.
It must have taken great cunning to turn this place upside down and maintain it in blind obedience.

Truly the greatest mystery on Earth. One thing is certain - the architects were by no means primitive.
Great article, as always.
