What is Dystinformation?
Controlling the narrative in advance in order to to influence public opinion towards acceptance of a simple and easy-to-understand explanation for the state of things to come
Dystopian Disinformation is a special form of disinformation (lying with facts or mostly-truths) pushed thru churnalism, consensussing, and propaganda – employed to prepare a collective awareness or mass formation paradigm in advance – to comfortably explain a future calamity or adverse spiral of events.
Dystinformation (alternately, ‘dystinfo’ or ‘dysinformation’ when in print) encapsulates a specific and nuanced concept within the realm of information distortion. It’s a form of disinformation that is particularly insidious because it uses facts or mostly-truths in a way that is misleading or deceptive. This approach is distinct from outright falsehoods or fabrications, as it relies on the selective presentation of truth to shape perceptions or narratives – particularly when applied to future events or a progression of adverse conditions.
Dystinformation proliferates under a circumstance wherein a single Party has gained excessive amounts of power (cultural, political, social, scientific, and/or industrial) and is aligned with a servile and corrupt media, under a legal condition defined as State (Joint) Action.
Specific Examples of Recent Dystinformation
Example: WHO Warns Cancer Cases Will Jump 77% by 2050 – Here’s Why
“Tobacco, alcohol and obesity are key factors behind the increasing incidence of cancer, with air pollution still a key driver of environmental risk factors.” (Notice the listing of usual suspects)
~ Agence France-Presse: Science Alert, 2 Feb 2024
Example: Young adults are having heart attacks more often — What’s causing it?
“…these heart conditions are the consequences of poor food choices and lack of exercise. Here’s what to know about the signs of heart disease, what to look for, and what to do to avoid the largely preventable fallout resulting from unhealthy habits.” (Notice the equivocation between sudden cardiac arrest, which began a rising trend only in 2021, and “heart disease,” which has actually fallen in younger populations over that same timeframe)
~ Dr. Faith Coleman, journalism and medical school graduate, 5 Feb 2024
“Obesity plays a big part in accelerated aging,” according to Osborn. “Obesity rates are on the rise, and this is a primary risk factor for aging and age-related diseases. It is a gateway disease to type II diabetes, cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, to name a few. Obesity also causes ‘biochemical abnormalities,’ such as insulin resistance and high levels of inflammation in the body,” the doctor warned. “As obesity rates rise for a variety of reasons, it should come as no surprise that rates of aging are going to accelerate, along with the rates of diseases such as cancer,” Osborn said.
~ Dr. Brett Osborn, neurologist and longevity expert, 9 Apr 2024
The astute ethical skeptic will notice the ad hoc pseudo-theory (a notion which explains anything, everything, and nothing – all at the same time) nature of the primary claims quoted above from the push propaganda pieces. Notice how the third article employs equivocation between a principle which is true (obesity), and principle which they are seeking to deflect (rising mRNA vaccine excess mortality). Yes, obesity is rising, but aging has accelerated as a result of the mRNA vaccine, and the article is seeking to prevaricate that issue in advance of awareness on the part of the general public.
Also, take note that the authorless (another key characteristic of both dis and dyst-information) Agence France-Presse first article failed to cite ‘climate change’, a principal cause célèbre of the forecasted cancer increase in other parallel articles. Abject certainty about both existence and cause, determined in advance, and inferred by a means which is anathema to real science. This constitutes nothing but a rounding up of the usual suspects.
Agence France-Presse did however, state that “[Less developed nations] who have the fewest resources to manage their cancer burdens will bear the brunt of the global cancer burden.” This too is dystinformation regarding a separate agenda and set of goals. As well, one should note the ‘it’s all your fault’ common thread contained inside these constructs – tattered, old, and ‘simple’ notions wheeled out on the front lawn of their hospice care center, and celebrated as champions of explanatory truth once again.
In the context of “Dystopian Disinformation,” this term suggests a deliberate strategy to manipulate collective awareness or create a mass formation paradigm. The aim here is to condition the public’s understanding or expectations in a way that aligns with certain agendas or prepares the populace for future adverse events or developments. By doing so, the orchestrators of dystinformation seek to control the narrative in advance, influence public opinion towards acceptance of a simple and easy-to-understand explanation for the state of things, and potentially mitigate backlash or resistance when these events unfold.
Churnalism (a portmanteau of ‘churn’ and ‘journalism’) – is a circumstance where media outlets rapidly produce articles based on wire stories and press releases with little original reporting, along with propaganda in disseminating dystinformation. The term highlights the role of media and communication channels in this process. These tools can amplify and normalize these distorted truths, embedding them into the public consciousness.
Consensussing (a portmanteau of ‘consensus’ and ‘sussing’) – is a dystinformation activity in which a false perception of consensus is built through crafting of pluralistic ignorance (regarding both the issue at hand and the matter of consensus itself) within the scientific community, or conducting the same activity to build pluralistic ignorance inside the public at large.
‘Dytsinformation’ in this sense is not merely misinformation (popularly and mistakenly defined as ‘unintentionally incorrect information’) or disinformation (popularly and mistakenly defined as ‘intentionally misleading or false information’)1, but a more sophisticated manipulation that employs specious elements or the veneer of truth in order to create a dystopian narrative.

“In religion and politics people’s beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second-hand, and without examination, from authorities who have not themselves examined the questions at issue but have taken them at second-hand from other non-examiners, whose opinions about them were not worth a brass farthing.”
Mark Twain
I would add that Science has become the New Religion.
Medical authorities are puzzled as to the epidemic of sudden deaths and aggressive cancers recently however they are certain they are not caused by the covid shots.
